NPI Look Up Number Directories - Search Physician NPI Numbers on Your Computer

NPI Look Up Number Directories are available as downloadable National Provider Identification number data files and National Provider Identification number Access databases. NPI numbers identify physicians and other health care providers described by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services).

NPI number data files and databases are released monthly and include UPIN crosswalks for all physicians and providers who had a UPIN. The monthly files are cumulative and contain all past and new providers. The most current file replaces any prior file. Do not purchase NPI number data files unless you understand how to download ZIP files from the Internet and can manage the data using spreadsheet or database programs. Because of the size of whole US file is so large, you need a database to manage the data.
