ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Coding Conversion Services

ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS go into effect October 2013 according to HIPAA regulations. ICD-10-CM replaces ICD-9-CM Volumes 1 and 2, while ICD-10-PCS is replacing ICD-9-CM Volume 3 and its Index. The draft system is available in educational volumes and as draft ICD-10-CM and draft ICD-10-PCS data files.

Provistas offers ICD-10 Conversion Services so that providers can be prepared for the change by updating their superbills, other printed forms, and electronic databases. We take your existing ICD-9-CM data and convert it to ICD-10 codes. Due to ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS being substantially more detailed coding systems, often one ICD-9-CM code will convert into one or more lists of the ICD-10 codes. This may dramatically affect the layout new superbills or other forms.

Please contact Laura at 888-288-2043 x2 to obtain a quote. Pricing is based on the format of the data to be converted, the total number of conversions, and the desired converted format desired. As an example, a superbill with 100 diagnosis codes in paper format would cost about $250 to convert.
